Nunu, a boy from the Freljord Notai tribe, always longed for their missing mother and the songs of heroes she would serenade him with. It was always his desire to embark on an adventure to locate his missing mother, but due to his small stature, he was always teased by his friends for having such an impossible goal. 

Nunu was not one to give in to their doubts. He gained the courage one day to embark towards the vast snowy fields of his lands, ultimately reaching the hiding place where a large, fluffy yeti resided. Large was quite an understatement, as the beast towered higher than the house Nunu lived in. The yeti's nostrils gushed air out like a blizzard and their fangs sparkled like icicles. Despite their appearance, the yeti approached Nunu slowly, taking notice of the fear that overtook the young boy. To comfort Nunu, the beast licked Nunu on the cheek, which caused Nunu to collapse onto the ground in surprise. The fear slowly faded from Nunu and he embraced the yeti, smiling and stroking their fur as the gentle beast rubbed his head against Nunu. The Yeti lifted Nunu up on their back and began to run off into the fields, embarking on an adventure together. Shortly afterwards, a light shined upon both of them, shining so bright that it began to disorient Nunu, causing him to fade into a dizzy spell and lose consciousness. 

Nunu, awaking from his slumber, felt that his body had grown heavier. It felt foreign and strange. Moving his hands to his face, he caught a glimpse of white fore paws. Startled by what he saw, he quickly ran out of the cave, though he felt his body move like a beast on all his six of his limbs rather than like that of a human. He was able to take a glimpse of his reflection in an ice wall, realizing that he had become a beast like the yeti he saw while a small child rode on his back. It became apparent to him that the yeti had somehow entered his body, leaving him to reside in the form the beast left behind. 

The yeti, now the boy, laughed loudly as he rode on Nunu's back, kicking at Nunu's sides as if he were riding a horse. Nunu became angry and tried demanding that the Yeti give him his original body back, but all of his demands came out in feral roars and grunts. Nunu couldn't use his forelegs to grab hold of the Yeti possessing his body from on top of him, so he ran tirelessly around the snowfield hoping to fling the yeti off, but to no avail. 

The boy smiled and said to him "Now, I am Nunu. And you are..... ah yes! Your new name is Wilump! Let's go on an adventure together!"
