Story

The history of Shurima is one shrouded in mystery. Not much was known of this past kingdom aside from a few relics that survived the calamity the lands endured throughout the years. Much of what was uncovered about Shurima led most scholars to believe that the lands were simply that of exagerated Myth. Tales of legends and wars that ensued entertained the imagination of many adventurers seeking to uncover more of this land's rich history.

Lost amongst the sea of sand, an Explorer found themselves discovering uncharted territory. Alone and excited to be renowned for their contributions to unearthing more of the mysteries of Shurima, he pressed onward into a chamber marked with a sign that he translated as "The Heart of Shurima", with a warning that only those deemed loyal to Shurima were allowed to step onto these hallowed grounds. Disregarding the message, he ventured forward. Despite there being no one else in the room, his body froze from what he described as a legion of soldiers gripping him in place. The floors ignited in a sea of blue flames, but the adventurer was not burned. Bathed in the flames of Shurima, he got exactly what he wanted; the history of Shurima poured into his mind along with all its secrets. As he bared witness to hundreds of years of knowledge, his body was garbed in the armor of one of Shurima's ancient guardians. His body showed slight protest to what was happening, but he was unable to break hold of the grasp the light had on his mind. He could only see the image of that of a hand of a deity holding onto a sceptar.

As his body shifted into its new form, a voice was heard in his mind
"A new guardian of Shurima is born. Arise, Nasus!"
