A land shrouded with mystery and legends, Runeterra will often times spring a new fate upon those who least expect it. A tale of a young apprentice adventurer would heed this call one day. As he returned back to his home to gather his training garbs, he heard the whispers of a strange voice, beckoning him through the labyrinth of stores in his town. His curiosity to see where the voice was leading him brought him to a clothing store that resided in a dimly lit back alley. Given how obscured from sight it was, it was no wonder people would pass on by without giving notice to it.

As he entered the stores, he was taken aback by the sheer quality of items this store had to offer. With no customers in view and dust collecting on the merchandise, it was a wonder how this store managed to survive financial ruin. Upon inspecting the gear, his eyes lit up from the energy radiating from the equipment. Each piece of armor in that store was enchanted with a great power. The store owner, approaching the young adventurer, explained the rich lore and tales that each garb in his store housed. The mighty cloak that the adventurer took a liking too was told to hold power as strong as a mighty strike of lightning; promising to raise one's agility and defense. For a small price, the cloak and hood could be his, to his surprise. Incapable of passing down such a generous offer, he agreed to pay the price for the garbs.

When the exchange completed, the garbs began to move almost on their own and wrap around his body, tightening and constricting itself on him. As the binding tightened on him, he felt his body began to shrink down. The power of thunder began to course throughout his body as the garbs properly fitted to his new form. When the changes were completed, he stood shorter that day, but as a more powerful being able to call upon the elements of lightning.
